Thanks guys. As you say Jim, the support of people, even online and although not face to face as with a guild, has been a great help. All the messages of support have helped a lot, and made things a wee bit easier.

Slowly getting back to normality now, we got the ashes yesterday and we'll be bringing them back to my mum's house today. A few more bits & pieces to get sorted out, and then that'll be it.

Sad old business, and I send best wishes to you and your family. From your description there with all those ops and the such like he battled through, he gave the Reaper a good run for his money, but alas you can't run forever. Most days you understand that this is the way of the world - but there are certainly days you just want to scream and curse.
You of course will get there in the end with the support of your friends and family, but there is no denying, it is hard. For me, i found the camaraderie of a Warcraft guild made things a lot better for me - the wife did not understand it, but it was good to be with people you "knew" whilst having the distance to quietly reflect on things going on in the old noggin.
All the best,
Jimbo

Yep, I know what you mean. My Dad was relatively young as well at 65 when he died. It makes you realise that time is precious. My son was born 12 weeks ago and I know for a fact I will try and spend as much time as possible with him growing up. I hope today is not too hard for you, try and remember all the great times you had.

Take care matey.
