And Blizzcon Go-eth
Big changes ahead for Azeroth.
So Blizzcon '09 has finished, and with it the announcement of the next WoW expansion, which as had been rumoured for a time before the con, will be entitled Cataclysm.
Deathwing, one of the ancient Dragons of Azeroth will return from another plane of existence, and by doing so will tear the world of Azeroth asunder.
The game will also see two new races (Goblins for the mighty Horde and Worgen/Werewolves for the Alliance scumbags) and various new race/class combinations.
There has also been a large streamlining/dumbing down of the stats involved in the game. Personally I view it as a good thing, because I should be able to know straight off the bat how fast mana should regen, or how hard I'll hit that +2 level Elite boss if I decide to try it.
All in all it's looking fairly good, and it won't be out for a while, so plenty of time to get tearing through the current content before everything changes!
